Custom-Fit, Long-Lasting, and Comfortable
Natural-Looking Crown Restorations
Unlike one-size-fits-all solutions, our dental crowns are tailored to match your bite, natural tooth shape, and shade. We use advanced 5D scanning to create accurate digital impressions and our state-of-the-art dental lab produces crowns that blend beautifully with the rest of your smile.

When Are Dental Crowns Needed?
Dental crowns are used to restore both the function and appearance of a damaged tooth.
You might benefit from a crown if:
You have a cracked, fractured, or heavily decayed tooth
You’ve had a large filling or root canal that has weakened the tooth
You’re looking to improve the shape or colour of a tooth
You need protection for a worn or misshapen tooth
You're completing a dental bridge or implant treatment
The Crown Fitting Process
What to Expect:
Initial Appointment & Scan/ Examination:
During your first visit, we’ll take a detailed 5D digital scan of your teeth and assess which crown material (porcelain, zirconia, ceramic, or metal-fused) is best for your needs.
Tooth Preparation & Temporary Crown:
The affected tooth will be carefully reshaped, and a temporary crown fitted to maintain your smile while your bespoke permanent crown is created.
Final Fitting:
Approximately 2 weeks later, you’ll return for a 30-minute appointment to have your permanent crown fitted. Once in place, your crown should feel completely natural and function like a regular tooth.
Are There Alternatives to Dental Crowns?
Yes, depending on your situation. If your tooth only has minor damage or cosmetic flaws, veneers or composite bonding may be more appropriate. If structural support is needed but the surrounding teeth are not suitable, a dental implant may be recommended.
Our dentists will walk you through every option and help you choose the solution that best fits your smile, health, and budget.

FAQs
What is a dental crown?
A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap placed over a damaged tooth to restore its strength, shape, and appearance. Crowns are custom-made and permanently bonded for long-lasting durability.
Is it normal to experience sensitivity after a crown?
Yes. Mild sensitivity to hot or cold is common for a week or two after fitting. If sensitivity persists beyond that or worsens, get in touch with your dentist for an assessment.
What is a temporary crown?
A temporary crown is a short-term solution worn while your permanent crown is being crafted. It helps maintain function, appearance, and protection during this interim period.
What should I avoid eating with a temporary crown?
Avoid hard or sticky foods such as nuts, chewy sweets, crusty bread, or raw carrots. Softer foods are gentler on your temporary crown and reduce the risk of dislodgement.
How long do crowns last?
With proper oral hygiene and regular dental visits, a crown can last 15–30 years. Avoiding excessive grinding and maintaining gum health are key to long-term success.
